Members

Invite, manage, and remove team members

Manage who has access to your Flint organization in Settings Members.

Inviting Members

Open the Invite Form

Click Invite Member in the Members section.

Enter Details

Provide:

  • Email address — They'll receive an invitation here
  • Role — What permissions they'll have
  • Name (optional) — Display name in the platform

Send Invitation

Click Send Invite. They'll receive an email with a link to create their account.

Invitation Status

StatusMeaning
PendingInvitation sent, not yet accepted
ActiveMember has accepted and created account
ExpiredInvitation wasn't accepted in 7 days

Resending Invitations

If an invitation expires or wasn't received:

  1. Find the pending member
  2. Click Resend Invite
  3. A new invitation email is sent

Canceling Invitations

To revoke an invitation before it's accepted:

  1. Find the pending member
  2. Click Cancel Invite
  3. The invitation link becomes invalid

Managing Members

Viewing Member Details

Click any member to see:

  • Account information
  • Assigned roles
  • Last login time
  • Active sessions

Changing Roles

  1. Click the member
  2. Under Roles, click Edit
  3. Add or remove roles
  4. Save changes

Changes take effect immediately. The member may need to refresh their browser to see updated permissions.

Updating Member Information

Admins can update:

  • Display name
  • Role assignments

Members update their own:

  • Email address
  • Password
  • Two-factor settings

Removing Members

Find the Member

Search or scroll to find them in the Members list.

Remove Access

Click Remove Member and confirm.

Verify Removal

The member disappears from the list and loses access immediately.

What Happens When You Remove Someone

  • Immediate — They're logged out and can't access the platform
  • Preserved — Their workflows, templates, and history remain
  • Reassigned — Consider reassigning their interventions before removal
  • Audit trail — Their actions remain in logs with their name

Bulk Operations

For multiple members:

  1. Select members using checkboxes
  2. Choose a bulk action:
    • Assign Role — Add a role to all selected
    • Remove Role — Remove a role from all selected
    • Remove Members — Remove all selected
